Lash Treatments

  • This can differ for everyone. Many factors affect the longevity of a set, including the natural cycle of an individual's lashes, the type of makeup applied, the products used on and around the eye area. The most important factor to ensure great retention? Maintaining proper hygiene along the lash line.

  • When done correctly, not at all! It's important to always do your research when searching for a lash artist. The horror stories had to have stemmed from somewhere, but when placed safely and properly, eyelash extensions can be worn for years at a time without compromising the health or integrity of the natural lashes.

  • I know cleansing the lashes can make you feel like you're going to wash them all away, but it actually has the opposite effect! Proper hygiene removes any makeup, dirt and oils that accumulate throughout the day, which helps with retention. It is encouraged to cleanse at least once a day.

  • The results of your lash lift can take up to 6-8 weeks. The idea is to permanently lift your lashes; however keep in mind that our hair is constantly shedding. Once a lifted lash sheds, it will be replaced with a brand new lash, with your natural curl. After about a month, you’ll notice the lashes are about half lifted, half your natural lash again. Generally, it can take about 8 weeks for all the lashes to shed into your natural lashes again.

  • We recommend waiting until after pregnancy/breastfeeding before scheduling a lash lift. While all of the products are applied externally, there remains a risk. The products may contain chemicals that aren’t recommended to be used on pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Brow Treatments

  • We recommend waiting until after pregnancy/breastfeeding before scheduling a brow appointment. While all of the products are applied externally, there remains a risk. The products may contain chemicals that aren’t recommended to be used on pregnant and breastfeeding women.

  • Your PMU (microblading, powder brows, nano brows, etc.) requires breaking the skin to deposit pigment. We ask that you wait a minimum of 8 weeks to allow the brows to fully heal before booking a Brow Lamination.

  • We like to compare lamination to a ‘built-in gel’ for your brows. This service helps to relax your brow hairs, making them much more manageable and giving you the ability to style the hair without any need for product.

The service itself follows the same idea as a lash lift or hair perm.

A great addition to the lamination is Brow Tint, which colours both the brow hair and the skin. When you book The Complete Brow Pack, the tint addition can really help mimic the look of filled-in brow makeup.

  • The results of your brow lamination can last up to 6-10 weeks before it starts to relax back to the natural state.

Body Sugaring

  • Schedule your sugaring appointment approximately 2 weeks after your last shave, or 4-6 weeks after your last sugar/wax appointment. The hair should be approximately the length of a grain of rice.

  • Generally, appointments should be scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.

  • Exfoliating the area will help avoid ingrown hairs. The ingrown hairs are a result of a build up of skin cells, which prevent the hair from growing out. When the skin cells are left untouched, the hair isn’t able to break through the barrier, resulting in the ingrown hair. Though you want to avoid exfoliating for 24 hours before and after your sugar appointment, you’ll want to focus on exfoliating the area regularly.

For intimate sugaring areas, consider adding a vagacial to your next appointment. Meant to treat and prevent ingrowns, reduce discolouration, improve skin texture, it’s the perfect service to have a pamper session while having your sugarist take care of this discomfort for you! Includes all the best parts of a facial, just for the intimate area!
